· Be
a foster home - both emergency and long term foster homes are always needed.
· Or, volunteer to help screen phone calls, do home checks and update
referral lists.
· Transportation - help
transport Aussies to the vet, groomer, a new foster home, etc.
· Training
/ Grooming - volunteer your services as a trainer or groomer. A nicely groomed,
well trained Aussie is much more likely to be adopted.
· Shelter
checks - periodically stop by or call shelters to see if they have an Aussie
and if one is found,
notify your representative who can then arrange to evaluate, arrange foster
care, and bail it out.
· Keep
an eye out for used and/or new dog supplies that people or stores are willing
to donate such as crates/beds, dog houses, collars/leashes, toys,
bowls, dog food, treats, etc. Also needed are items to be used for our
fundraising raffles
such as gift certificates to local restaurants or stores.
We have chosen Kuranda
dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs.
We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate
a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.
· Monetary
donations are of course always
greatly needed and appreciated!!!
